Designated Agency Mandatory Course

•  Mandatory Course: Designated Agency Mandatory Many industry members in Nova Scotia practise in brokerages which operate under the newer form of agency known as Designated Agency. Understanding this model in depth and knowing how to effectively apply it in day-to-day practice is a skill that industry members need in order to fulfill their fiduciary duties to their clients while ensuring a general duty of care and fairness to all consumers of real estate services. Broker Mandatory Course

•  Mandatory Course: Broker Mandatory A key area of responsibility for brokers and managing associate brokers is the ongoing training and supervision of licensed salespeople, as well as the broker review of purchase and sale agreements, seller and buyer brokerage agreements, customer acknowledgments, and advertising. Being aware of and managing potentially high risk and conflict of interest situations is also critical and requires an in-depth understanding of the compliance requirements.
