•  Mandatory Course: Common Law Agency Mandatory (6 credits) Most brokerages in Nova Scotia practice under the traditional agency model of Common Law Agency. Understanding this model in depth and knowing how to effectively apply it in day-to-day practice is a skill that industry members need in order to fulfill their fiduciary duties to their clients while ensuring a general duty of care and fairness to all consumers of real estate services. This full day course will explore common law agency in depth with a focus on issues that commonly arise specifically with this type of agency.
